Over his 25-year senior marketing, sales and general management career, Miro has successfully managed, developed and launched a broad array of brands with Fortune 100 companies, start-ups and turnarounds. He has also been a start-up CEO and corporate General Manager. Miro’s passion is working with clients in the consumer, entertainment, convergence and technology sectors.
Prior to BottomLine, Miro was Chief Marketing Officer at Hasbro’s Wizards of the Coast division where he developed a successful brand portfolio strategy that generated sales 30% ahead of plan. Miro also served as Chief Marketing Officer of News Corporation’s SKY Latin America satellite TV service where he launch the most successful multi-channel television service in Latin America, reaching over 1 million subscribers in 24 months and taking the business from zero to over $250 million in revenues. As Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Planning at Savoy Brands International, Miro turned around once leading brands in 10 of the largest Latin American markets against global competitors; grew revenues over 40% and helped the company turn its first profit in 5 years. Simultaneously, he was the General Manager of their Ecuadorian operation where he successfully grew sales and profits despite a major currency devaluation, inherited labor issues and new global competitors entering the market. He began his career at Frito-Lay where he held a number of senior level marketing positions both domestically and internationally.
Miro earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and a MPP from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. He earned B.A. in Economics and International Relations from the University of Southern California, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He is on the board of directors of several private companies, a mutual fund and various non-profit organizations. He has been teaching “Strategic Branding”, a popular course in the MBA program at San Diego State University since 2007.

Over his 25-year senior marketing and general management career, Steve has profitably built a broad array of brands at companies ranging from start-up to Fortune 100. Steve most recently served as Vice President, North America Marketing for Jenny Craig, where he helped drive four consecutive years of market share growth. While with Jenny Craig, Steve developed and launched many highly visible and successful marketing campaigns, which included TV, print and radio advertising and retail focused communication materials including window banners, posters and brochures. He also initiated and successfully launched Jenny Craig’s social media program which included elements targeting Facebook, Twitter and Youtube.
Prior to Jenny Craig, he served as Chief Marketing Officer for Proflowers.com (now Provide Commerce), with general management responsibilities for the consumer division of this highly successful internet company. Under his leadership, the Proflowers brand became an internet-based floral industry leader and the company reached $73M in sales and its first profitable year in 2002. Prior to joining Proflowers, Steve led the grocery marketing division at Tropicana where his new product program and targeted advertising efforts helped grow the business from $800M to $1.3B. Before Tropicana, he held a number of senior level marketing positions with Kraft, Cadbury and Pillsbury.
Steve is also an Instructor at the UCSD Rady School of Management Executive Development Program where he teaches the popular “Social Media Marketing: Is My Brand Ready?” program to executives interested in determining the optimal role of social media in their marketing plan, and which social media platforms are right for their brands.
In 2009, Steve received Electronic Retailer’s Direct to Consumer Marketer of the Year Award. Steve earned his MBA with distinction from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and his B.S. in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany.

For over 20 years, Laura has worked in marketing, brand management, content and sales related functions in roles ranging from brand manager to vice president. Laura started her career in brand management with Frito-Lay where she repositioned and significantly grew such established brands as Fritos and Tostitos and then moved onto senior marketing and sales management roles at what is now Hanes Brands (formerly part of Sara Lee Corp.). At Hanes Brands, Laura managed to refresh and improve sales of one of their oldest intimate apparel brands by over 100% and launch new products into untapped categories for the megabrand. In addition, she served as a Regional Sales Manager and as a cross divisional liaison for several company-wide projects.
Since leaving Hanes and moving to San Diego, Laura has worked as VP of Membership and Events at IDEA Health and Fitness Association (the world’s leading membership organization for fitness professionals), and in marketing for Rubio’s Restaurant’s and Petco Animal Supplies. At Rubio’s, Laura’s focus was on managing and expanding their catering business and eco-friendly initiatives achieving significant growth in both areas during a down economy. At Petco, Laura worked in various interim management positions in the areas of marketing campaign, project and content management and production. Laura has also been very active in her community as an elected representative to the City of San Diego’s Planning Board for Carmel Valley for over 14 years. It is the board’s role to evaluate proposed development plans and issues affecting the entire Carmel Valley and Pacific Highlands Ranch (PHR) communities and offer recommendations and decisions to the City of San Diego’s Department of City Planning & Community Investment, Planning Commission and City Council.
Through these varied positions Laura has become skilled in strategic marketing, brand and project management, launching new products and leading cross-functional teams. She is detail oriented and possesses a fine balance of analytical, organizational, and creative skills. She earned a BA in Mathematics and French, from Middlebury College graduating magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa and has also earned an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing from Duke University graduating with the distinction of Fuqua Scholar.
Over his 35-year career as a senior sales, fundraising development and art director, Kevin has successfully built a broad array of successful marketing communications programs for companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500s. For the last eight years, Kevin served as a marketing communications and fundraising development consultant, reporting directly to the President for the La Jolla Institute for Allergy & Immunology, one of the world’s leading medical research institutes. In this role, his responsibilities included the recruitment and development of prospective Board of Director members and major gift prospects, relationship development and community outreach. In addition, Kevin assisted in the development of a President’s Council of Institute donors growing the initial membership rapidly to approximately 75 founding members.
From 1987 to 2001, Kevin served as the founding partner and CEO of Goss Keller Martinez (GKM), a San Diego firm specializing in corporate communications and publication design. Under his leadership, GKM became an industry leader working with consumer and technology clients including Pacific Life Insurance Company, Ford Motor Company, Leica plc, Amylin Pharmaceuticals and The Salk Institute. Before GKM, he began his corporate communications career at Integrated Software Systems Corporation (ISSCO) in San Diego, and Computer Associates (CA) in New York.
Kevin has served on a number of corporate and non-profit boards, including Freedom Is Not Free, a non-profit organization which aided wounded service members, their families and the families of the fatally wounded. Additionally, he currently serves on the advisory board of United Through Reading, a non-profit organization that encourages parents to read aloud with children to strengthen family relationships.
Kevin earned his B.A. from San Jose State University, and he studied at the University of South Carolina.

Cynthia graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with an emphasis in advertising from the University of Oregon in 1992.

Danila de Granda,
Danila has over 20 years of diverse experience in marketing and sales creative development and innovation. Graduating with unprecedented honors from FIDM in Los Angeles, she began her extensive career in marketing and creative. Danila has served a broad range of clients in financial services, consumer products and services, technology, and personal improvement. Her clients span across the USA, and internationally in the Caribbean, Africa, and in the UK where she managed her firm’s London office for two years.
Danila has successfully implemented a broad scope of marketing and creative projects: conceiving, developing and implementing powerful marketing and brand strategies, creative brief integration, brand development, collateral and content creation, packaging, website design, corporate and keynote presentations, sales and service training curriculum and visuals, and software user-interface design.

Nicolle is an associate creative director at BottomLine Marketing Group and is responsible for most of the day-to-day creative work. She has extensive experience in developing both interactive and traditional marketing for some of the world’s most recognized brands.
Nicolle has worked in the creative field over the past 17 years in roles ranging from creative director to graphic designer. She has collaborated on projects with numerous Fortune 500 and 1000 companies, including AOL, MSN, NEC, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Westell, LifeSavers, StubHub, Kraft Foods, GuardianEdge, Experian and eBay to name a few.

Senior Application Developer
Jason is a Senior Application Developer at BottomLine Marketing Group and is responsible for web development services and interactive media development. Jason is self-taught in several cross platform technologies ranging from customized content managements systems to ecommerce web site development. With over 17 plus years in the high technology industry, Jason has worked with several high profile clients, such as, The US Navy, Hewlett Packard, Alaris Medical Center, StubHub, Experian, GuardianEdge, Dean Koontz, Asian Business Association and the PGA to name a few.
Jason served in the U.S Army where he served in Operations Shield and Storm as part of a special weapons section which required Classified Security Clearance. His military background and security clearance allowed him to return to the civilian sector and work on federal projects including the HARM missile tactical manual and field ready interactive instructional videos for the US Navy Seals.
Using the aforementioned applications and tools, Jason has traveled and lived in several exotic locales such as Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore. To fund his wanderlust, Jason worked as a consultant with several local businesses ranging from an Internet café in Singapore to a technical support specialist for a local business college in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
